FAQs

What does alleviary mean anyway?

Let’s break it down. Allevi comes from the word alleviate. Ary comes from the worth apothecary. Our mission is to be a trusted resource for CBD solutions.

How can I trust the products I’m receiving from you?

To us, trust is the most important factor in any relationship. It’s how we run our lives and how we run this company. That’s why we only work with trusted partners. We take your trust in us very seriously and want to be your trusted marketplace for the best CBD brands and best CBD products.

Aren’t there a bunch of websites where I can buy CBD products?

Yes. There’s also a ton of CBD products out there and, with each passing day, there’s more and more. You could browse those other sites but would you really know what you were buying? Would you have confidence in the quality of the CBD products you’re paying good money for?

So how is Alleviary different?

We take the guesswork out of buying CBD products. We’ve traveled the world to find only the highest quality in both CBD partners and CBD products. So when you shop with Alleviary, you can rest assured you’re only shopping and buying high-quality CBD products.

How do you choose your partners?

Let’s be clear. We are not committed to specific brands. We are, however, deeply committed to bringing you a variety of CBD products that are of the highest quality. We only work with partners we know, trust, and can depend on to bring you the very best CBD products.

Can we take a step back here? I have some questions.

Absolutely. Let’s start with the basics.

What is CBD?

CBD stands for cannabidiol. It is one of the many active compounds found in the Cannabis sativa plant. It is derived directly from the hemp plant.

What is CBD oil?

CBD oil is an extract from CBD.

Are there different types of CBD oil?

Yes. There are actually three categories of CBD oil that are available in the United States: full spectrum oil, broad spectrum oil, and isolate.

What is crystalline isolate?

Crystalline isolate is CBD in its purest form. It is what remains after everything else has been removed from the hemp plant.

What is full spectrum oil?

Unlike crystalline isolate, full spectrum oil includes a wide range of cannabinoids in addition to CBD, such as CBN, THC, CBC, and CBG.

What is broad spectrum oil?

Unlike crystalline isolate, broad spectrum oil includes a wide range of cannabinoids as well as essential vitamins, minerals, proteins, fatty acids, and more. Unlike full spectrum, it does not contain any detectable amount of THC.

What’s better? Crystalline isolate or broad spectrum oil?

If only it were that easy, right? “Better” is subjective. It really boils down to the CBD solution you are looking for.

That’s not a real answer. Tell me what’s better: crystalline isolate or broad spectrum oil?

Again, it depends on what your looking for. However, full spectrum can provide more of an impact than CBD alone.

What’s the entourage effect?

Good question. The entourage effect is what happens when the multiple compounds in the cannabis plant work together. Simply stated, these individual compounds are stronger together.

What is THC?

Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is another cannabinoid in the Cannabis plant. THC and CBD are remarkably similar in structure and mass.

In Layman’s terms, what does THC do?

CBD is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid. Simply stated, THC is the substance responsible for getting you high.

Is there THC in CBD oil?

Sometimes, yes. However, the amount of THC is extremely negligible (0.3% or less) and will not get the user high. There are many isolate CBD oil products, however, that do not contain any THC.

 What are CBD edibles?

Not everyone, particularly children, will enjoy the taste of CBD oil itself. Because of this, and because of our mission, we offer a variety of products—from flavored syrups, protein bars and more.

Where do your products come from?

We are 100% committed to quality and user satisfaction. Because of this, we only source our products from trusted and experienced vendors, which who we have longstanding relationships. Certificate of Analysis available upon request.
